What Do you See?

What do you see when you look at this picture? I know what other people see. They see a child with Down Syndrome. They see a child of Asian descent. They see a child of African descent. They see a child that looks All-American. If that is all they see, then they miss the big picture. If they only focus on the differences, they miss the things that make them the same. They miss the most important things.

You know what I see? I see children. Happy Children! Children sharing a moment. Each having their own lollipop, yet sharing it together with their siblings. You see, they are siblings in the best sense of the word. They have their lollipops and they have each other. That's all they need at that moment in time.

I hate to admit it, but I saw A telling J how to do something. It is a lot of work for her to keep three brothers in line.

She's probably telling Sawyer to leave it in his mouth. He wanted a ring pop, not a blow pop like the others. His was way cool cause it turned his tongue green/blue.

That is a true sibling! Being the ONLY girl...she does have a tough job.

What a precious picture. I see family! Though, I have to agree with Lori, that I also saw Ansley being a "Mom". . .
