What a wonderful Friday and Saturday we have had. (Save for a bit of confusion at the airport, that is) We met up with some cyber-friends we made during our adoption journey. One friend spent the night with us Friday along with her daughter, Anna. Anna and Ansley had a great time playing together. We all met up with some other friends who had not met Ansley yet. What an experience. Seven (7) adults and four (4) children at a restaurant. (It was Ansley's first time at a restuarant since we brought her home) It went amazingly well considering the children were ages 3 years, 22 months, 20 months, and 18 months.
On Saturday, we met more cyber-friends at the Atlanta Botanical Garden for the Asian Cultural Festival. How exciting to get a peek into the culture from which our children come. We saw traditional dances, crafts and music. We ate authentic Asian food. (Not sure which country our food was representing but it sure was good though) Judson even made a kite!
It was quite nice by Atlanta standards as far as weather goes. I think it was 86 and sunny and of course, humid!
